Pak-India water talks resumed


 ISLAMABAD: Pak-India backdoor contacts brought color as the snow began to melt in both the countries.


According to Pak-India diplomatic sources, Pakistan-India water talks have resumed and Pak-India water delegations will sit at the table on March 23. After successful diplomatic progress, Pakistan attended the Pak-India Indus Water Commissioner's meeting in New Delhi. It has been decided that the two-day meeting will be held on March 23 and 24 in New Delhi.



 

According to sources, Indus Water Commissioner Syed Mohammad Mehr Ali Shah and Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry will represent Pakistan. Corona Pak-India meeting could not be held for two years due to tension and other factors.
