Saudi Arabia plans to create a separate coastal area for women


 Riyadh: Saudi Arabia is planning to build a beach where only women will be allowed to enjoy the sea and enjoy free walks on the beach.


According to Arab media, Saudi Arabia is about to start the construction of the world's first women's beach, which will be located north of the Corniche Sea Front, and this project has been developed by Jubail Industrial City.


Special privacy will be taken care of in a separate beach for women while there will also be greenery, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and other facilities and only children will be allowed to come with women on this beach.

Nayef al-Darwish, chairman of Jubail's local council, told Saudi magazine in an interview that a separate beach for women had been designed and construction would begin in 90 days. A five-year plan has been drawn up for this project.


Nayef Al-Darwish added that the project is part of Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman's Vision 2030, which provides women with employment, driving and sports permits as well as recreational opportunities.
