A member of the British royal family, the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry will serve as chief executive officer at American coaching and mental health company Better Up.
Prince Harry said in a statement that he was "very happy" to take on his new responsibilities. "The nature of his work, his working hours and the compensation he will receive in return is not yet clear.
This is his latest move after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, resigned as senior members of the royal family in March last year.
Prince Harry's statement about the job came after he gave a shocking interview to Oprah Winfrey with his wife Meghan Markle earlier this month.

In the interview, the couple, who did not want to be named, alleged that a member of the royal family had asked them before the birth of their son Archie how dark his complexion could be.
The royal palace has said the claim is "worrying" but will be resolved privately. Earlier this week, Buckingham Palace said it was reviewing diversity in all royal families.
In a statement, Prince Harry said his new position was aimed at "raising the necessary debate on mental health, building a supportive and empathetic community and promoting an environment conducive to discussion on honest and sensitive issues."
Alexei Rubichacks, CEO of American company BetterUp, told the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that Prince Harry would not handle employees or report them directly to the public, but that the company would do so when circumstances allowed K will spend some time at San Francisco headquarters.

Prince Harry says that when he first met Mr. Rubychacks, the two recognized in each other "a common passion for helping others realize their full potential."
The Wall Street Journal says "corporate chief executive officer positions are few and far between, while such positions are found in non-profit organizations such as Amnesty International."
American company Better Up was founded in 2013, providing professional coaching, counseling and guidance.
The company says it has about 2,000 coaches serving 49 countries in 49 languages.
Prince Harry has previously launched programs such as the Invictus Games, which aims to allow members of the armed forces to use the game to restore mental and physical health.
He has spoken publicly on mental health issues.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are now based in the US state of California after working for economic independence in January and confirming their resignation as a senior member of the royal family.
He announced last year that he had entered into an agreement with online streaming company Netflix under which he would create various programs, some of which he could join himself. He has a contract with the music streaming service Spotify.
