Pakistan:Nawaz Sharif and Fazlur Rehman agree to continue the movement even without PPP

 PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Nawaz Sharif have agreed to continue the anti-government movement even without the PPP, while Asif Ali Zardari has said that our central executive committee will decide on the resignations.

According to Express News, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif had a telephone conversation in which they discussed the future political strategy and future strategy of the PDM alliance.

According to sources, the strategy for the long march and resignations was discussed. It was also agreed during the talks that the decisions of the PPP Central Executive Committee would be awaited. However, sources said that the two leaders have agreed that if the PPP comes, then the nine parties in the alliance will give a plan of action.

Sources said that apart from the long march and resignations, the two leaders also consulted on the jail-filled movement and agreed to convene a PDM meeting after receiving a response from the PPP. On the other hand, the PPP has convened a meeting of the CEC. The PPP Central Executive Committee will meet on April 4 to discuss the resignations .

Contact between Fazlur Rehman and Asif Zardari

Meanwhile, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and former President Asif Ali Zardari had a telephone conversation in which the political situation in the country was discussed.

According to sources, Asif Ali Zardari said that a meeting of the Central Executive Committee has been convened on April 4 on the issue of resignations. The PDM leadership will be informed of the decision of our committee.

Sources said that in reply, Maula Fazlur Rehman said that he would wait for the reply and hoped that the PPP would adopt a democratic attitude.
